Alper Akdeniz graduated in Dramatic Writing from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University, where the master’s thesis is now in progress.
As a director, Akdeniz has received 35 national and international awards for short film and documentary.
Akdeniz has close to eighteen published works, eight of them children’s books, among them four co-authored books, four poetry collections and two essay collections, and wrote the stories in Masal Hazinesi.
